New Chapter in My Life

It's started about 9 months ago
simple thing that's going to be one of the biggest thing in my life
Who knows
step by step
slowly but sure
the stranger one
change to be
one of the most important one

One i know
it's not coincidence at all
When i recall my mind
and remember
how we met
how we knew one each other
how we to be close
I call it
amazing...
The important one
how God guides me
how He shows the way
and how He gives His heart
To love
to understand
to give
perfectly
It's a grace
To be loved
to be understood
to be given
perfectly

We can't love perfectly
without knowing what perfect love is
without feel what perfect love is
So...
Download God's perfect love
receive it,feel it,enjoy it,then share it
When it is shared
God's love will flow through us

Love is nothing without commitment
Commitment..
It needs sacrifice
also needs denying ourself
It can't work
without seriousness
without sincerity
and of course without love
Love is nothing without commitment
but commitment is too hard to do without love

To be a better one
For me, love can't be blind
That's right it has to accept everything
good things and bad things
But its better when it can accept good things
and change bad things into the better one
Start from myself
I have to give my best
to make myself to be a better one
in relationship with God,character,soft skill
and everything

I have decided
Yes, I have..

I thank God for new chapter in my life
for my relation with God
my good family
my friends
my community
my carrier
my study
and for new thing that He puts in my life
for her

Her name is
Rachel Amelia Chandra

How to Think Outside The Box

Thursday, June 21, 2012

1. Put God first
We are s human have to realize that we are so limited. It's hard to mastering everything and look in right view  everytime. That's why we have to surrender our problem to God. Put God first is very smart solution to make us think outside the box. For illustration, we are trapped in traffic jam . We are seeing our surrounding is very crowded and we can't move anywhere. Seeing that situation, we can be frustrated and angry. But the other people from helicopter can see that there's an accident that caused the traffic jam. And police is trying to handle it,and it will take no long time. After everything are handled, the traffic will become normal. It shows how us need God. We can ask for information or advice to the man in helicopter for the thing we have to do and must not do.
2. Study another industry.
I’ve learned as much about teaching from learning about marketing as I have from studying pedagogy – maybe more. Go to the library and pick up a trade magazine in an industry other than your own, or grab a few books from the library, and learn about how things are done in other industries. You might find that many of the problems people in other industries face are similar to the problems in your own, but that they’ve developed really quite different ways of dealing with them. Or you might well find new linkages between your own industry and the new one, linkages that might well be the basis of innovative partnerships in the future.
3. Take a class.
Learning a new topic will not only teach you a new set of facts and figures, it will teach you a new way of looking at and making sense of aspects of your everyday life or of the society or natural world you live in. This in turn will help expand both how you look at problems and the breadth of possible solutions you can come up with.
4. Read a novel in an unfamiliar genre.
Reading is one of the great mental stimulators in our society, but it’s easy to get into a rut. Try reading something you’d never have touched otherwise – if you read literary fiction, try a mystery or science fiction novel; if you read a lot of hard-boiled detective novels, try a romance; and so on. Pay attention not only to the story but to the particular problems the author has to deal with. For instance, how does the fantasy author bypass your normal skepticism about magic and pull you into their story? Try to connect those problems to problems you face in your own field. For example, how might your marketing team overcome your audiences normal reticence about a new “miracle” product?
5. Write a poem.
While most problem-solving leans heavily on our brain’s logical centers, poetry neatly bridges our more rational left-brain though processes and our more creative right-brain processes. Though it may feel foolish (and getting comfortable with feeling foolish might be another way to think outside the box), try writing a poem about the problem you’re working on. Your poem doesn’t necessarily have to propose a solution – the idea is to shift your thinking away from your brain’s logic centers and into a more creative part of the brain, where it can be mulled over in a non-rational way. Remember, nobody has to ever see your poem…
6. Draw a picture.
Drawing a picture is even more right-brained, and can help break your logical left-brain’s hold on a problem the same way a poem can. Also, visualizing a problem engages other modes of thinking that we don’t normally use, bringing you another creative boost.
7. Turn it upside down.
Turning something upside-down, whether physically by flipping a piece of paper around or metaphorically by re-imagining it can help you see patterns that wouldn’t otherwise be apparent. The brain has a bunch of pattern-making habits that often obscure other, more subtle patterns at work; changing the orientation of things can hide the more obvious patterns and make other patterns emerge. For example, you might ask what a problem would look like if the least important outcome were the most important, and how you’d then try to solve it.
8. Work backwards.
Just like turning a thing upside down, working backwards breaks the brain’s normal conception of causality. This is the key to backwards planning, for example, where you start with a goal and think back through the steps needed to reach it until you get to where you are right now.
9. Ask a child for advice.
I don’t buy into the notion that children are inherently ore creative before society “ruins” them, but I do know that children think and speak with a n ignorance of convention that is often helpful. Ask a child how they might tackle a problem, or if you don’t have a child around think about how you might reformulate a problem so that a child could understand it if one was available. Don’t run out and build a boat made out of cookies because a child told you to, though – the idea isn’t to do what the child says, necessarily, but to jog your own thinking into a more unconventional path.
10. Invite randomness.
If you’ve ever seen video of Jackson Pollock painting , you have seen a masterful painter consciously inviting randomness into his work. Pollock exercises a great deal of control over his brushes and paddles, in the service of capturing the stray drips and splashes of paint that make up his work. Embracing mistakes and incorporating them into your projects, developing strategies that allow for random input, working amid chaotic juxtapositions of sound and form – all of these can help to move beyond everyday patterns of thinking into the sublime.
11. Take a shower.
There’s some kind of weird psychic link between showering and creativity . Who knows why? Maybe it’s because your mind is on other things, maybe it’s because you’re naked, maybe it’s the warm water relaxing you – it’s a mystery. But a lot of people swear by it. So maybe when the status quo response to some circumstance just isn’t working, try taking a shower and see if something remarkable doesn’t occur to you!

It's Not My Strength , Praise The Lord

Wednesday, March 7, 2012
I want to tell you how God leads me and takes part into every aspect in my life. This time,i will tell you His work through my basketball competition that I joined.

The competition was started about 1 month ago.  It was about one week before opening match,I don't know why God remind me about what Kaka did at 2002 World Cup final,at that match Kaka make a goal for Brazil and he opened his jersey and show the shirt reads "I love Jesus,I belong to Jesus"(i posted story about Kaka to my blog too that time). It was so strong to me,and I asked God what should I do.Then I made shirt design reads "It's not my strength, praise The Lord" and " I love Jesus".

When I decided to make those shirt,I told one of my friend. Yah,just call her JC. I told JC how God reminded me about Kaka and i told her I would make a shirt. She strongly supported me for what I had done and support me for the competition. She said "If you win the game,God will be delighted of your action. But if even you lose,I will still congratulate you" That time,I thought rationally, last year basketball competition we didn't even through final, how could i win the competition. But,yeahh, just do it.

The competition started,I hoped there would be God's work in every game that we do. Before the match started,JC told me one thing that really encouraging me,"I know,in your game,God be with you,and no one can hit you down". I just try to give my best in every game. I'm proud of my teammate too, they're really good player and we play neck and neck to get the game. The opponents aren't weak team, they're good team too,but by God's grace finally we won all game and through final.

The final match held at 6 pm. As usual,I did my silent time in the morning and read my reflection book "Our Daily Bread". It was March 7th,but i don't know why I read the article for March 8th and the topic is "We're the winner". After read it,I realized that I didn't read the article for that day. That time i wondered,is it God's sign for me that i will win the game today or just a coincidence. But I didn't get anything after it. Then,at 10 am i went to prayer alliance at church. I was amazed when the worship topic is about when God be with us,no one can hit us down. Suddenly i remembered it was what JC said before competition started. Then i have bigger faith to win the game that night.

That was March 7th,6 pm. Before the match I thought we would win the game surely. And the game started. I don't know why when the game started, we didn't play well. We played without confidence anymore. And at the half of first quarter,i got my foot bones very hurt and i couldn't run and jump well. The result oh first quarter we lose 10 points. All team member gave support each other and started the second quarter. Our performance didn't get better yet,and the second quarter ended. We lose 14 points.

At the break between second quarter and third quarter,i started to pray. How can catch up 14 points and beside it i can't play well,my foot is extremely hurt. God put it strongly in my heart,He reminded me what JC said, "In your game,God be with you,and no one can hit you down". It gave me so much courage and new hope. I said to my teammate,we surely win the game!

Third quarter started,I was surprised with what happened. I thought after i prayed there would be such surprising miracle and we play well and leading the score. Nothing at all,we play as bad as before, and we lose 20 points. When we lose 20 points, I think it's rather impossible to get the game. But I just thought it in myself,I didn't tell anyone to keep they spirit on.When my hope almost died, God said to me "step by step, one by one". And He gave me wisdom, what strategy we had to apply.I told to my teammate what I've got,"step by step, one by one",play patiently. And I told strategy that God showed to me clearly,i told 2 people had to press the opponent's ball holder,1 person stay at the middle of the field to cut the passing, and 2 people stay at the back to guard the other players. Now,i don't even know how can i know that strategy because I've not ever learned that strategy before. It's surely not my ingenuity,it's the wisdom from God.

The last quarter started, and as I thought before,we played much better than before. We play patiently, scoring one by one,and every person do their task perfectly. And the strategy worked perfectly.Last 2 minutes, finally we caught up the score 45-45,we got new hope. And the supporters are
incredible too, they supported us with full spirit. It really helped us to burn our spirit too. They shout our name one by one to spirit us.And like in the movie, last minute we leaded the score, then the result is 56-48 for our victory.

This is the time that I had been waiting for,i took of my jersey and show shirt that I've prepared before reads "It's not my strength, PRAISE THE LORD".

What I learn from this moment:
1. When we take God as our first,He surely take part of what we do.
2. Our team lead the score 1 minute before the match end. God is never too fast and He is never too  late to help us.Perfect in His time!
3. JC words really encourage me when I'm down.As i said,if i win the game, first i will thank God,and   the second one i will thank you! As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another
4. He tell me some advise and what strategy we have to apply CLEARLY. God is creative and the source of inspiration. God doesn't just tell us the way, but He show us the way.
5. My foot bone was extremely hurt. Even now, when i'm writing,it's very hurt. But yesterday,at third and last quarter I didn't feel it. The miracle is real!God strengthen us in our weakness.
